Bob Conley, a Democrat, running against South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said during the primary that he was once a Republican who left the party years ago. Members of the North Myrtle Beach GOP club contradicted Conley’s claim. They say he was on the executive committee of the Horry County Republican Party from February 2007 until just recently. Horry County Republicans learned just prior to this months primary election that the Bob Conley on their executive committee was the same Bob Conley running as a Democrat against Senator Graham. Surprise! This revelation is not likely to hurt Conley’s chances since the possibility of his winning is close to nil anyway.

There are a lot of us that were former Republicans. We don’t like Nationbuilding, corparate welfare, stupid energy policies, or intrusions into our Civil Liberties. We don’t like Lindsey Graham as the “alter boy” for McCain, and his “neo-conservative”, pro-war, stance. Many of us don’t like his anti-First Amendment stance on so called “Campaign Finance Reform” which was opposed by many Democrats.
That’s why I am voting for Democrat, Bob Conley.
One more thing…
There is a correlation between “liberal”, and “liberatarian”. It used to mean that “we just want to keep the government out of our lives”. We shared a basic distrust of government. The difference, is that I don’t trust either the Democrats, or the Republicans. That’s why I am voting Democrat. Bob Conley enjoys the respect of the minority voters of South Carolina, and the votes of the libertarian/former Republican voters, who are tired of neo-conservative, finacially irresposible, interventionalist, pro-war, Republicans. We can put another Democrat in Congress on this election.
No anti-2nd Amendment Democrat will ever be elected to a national office in SC. Even Barak O’Bama recognises that…The beauty of this campaign is that Conley will attract enough voters on conservative issues (like James Webb) to give the Democrats another seat in Congress.(and end the career of John McCain’s chief cheerleader)
Lindsey Graham needs to be taken down, and we have an excellent opportunity to elect someone who will fight for our Constitutional liberties which Graham seeks to strip away.
Both Democratic and Republican presidential candidates voted for the FISA bill, like Lindsey Graham, but Bob Conley would have never done that.
We need to get the word out that Lindsey Graham can be taken down, and we won’t be replacing him with another oligarch.
As long as we are talking muslims and secrets we all need to be looking into this guy Conley. Turncoat Republican running as a democrat and has the islamic symbol on his website.
Doesn’t anybody else know this guy’s a muslim?
