Zbigniew Brzezinski, the former national security advisor for President Jimmy Carter, warns that John McCain might pick the wrong people for his administration and head the world in the direction of World War IV. “Well, if McCain is president and if his Secretary of State is Joe Lieberman and his Secretary of Defense is Giuliani, we will be moving towards the World War IV that they have been both favoring and predicting,” said Brzezinski.

That comment brings one question immediately to mind. What happened to World War III? That is a big part of history to miss. Brzezinski says those who are preparing us for World War IV consider the Cold War as World War III. Frankly, I would find it more convenient if everyone would use the same history book.

It should be noted that Brzezinski was an early supporter of Barack Obama, and his name has been bantered about as a possible cabinet member.

Brzezinski also pushed for a bipartisan cabinet at this time, suggesting that Republican Senators Chuck Hagel and Richard Lugar would be good choices. Brzezinski also suggested that current Secretary of Defense Bob Gates should remain in his post for a few months of an Obama administration.
