Has Idaho Republican Senator Larry Craig endorsed Barack Obama?

We already know that Craig likes to play all sides of the field, but a new political button just released in Idaho hints that he’s foot-tapping himself from the McCain stall to the Obama stall.

But wait. Not so fast. It is all a printer’s error. Craig is not running for re-election this year, because of some well-known personal problems last year. One of the candidates seeking to replace him also has the name Larry — Larry LaRocco. The company making the buttons got the pictures mixed up. That is Larry Craig’s face next to Obama.

Most of the buttons were stopped before they went public, but a few made it out. The new buttons are out with the faces of Obama and LaRocco. The first batch that slipped out are now collectors’ items.
