Republican Congressman William Sali of Idaho has opened a new campaign office for the First Congressional District race against Democratic challenger Walt Minnick. There is just one odd thing about Sali’s campaign office. It is in the Second Congressional District.

Sali explained the anomaly simply, “It’s a convenient location and the price is right.”

However, the Minnick campaign found a campaign office within the First District. Minnick responded, There’s lots of available office space in the 1st Congressional District, and we have very much enjoyed having our office there.”

It does make you wonder how much support Sali is going to get from landlords with vacant office space. The First Congressional District covers the western half of Idaho from the Canadian to Nevada borders.
