Kentucky Politician Released From Jail After Offering To Trade Hog For Girls

Otis “Bullman” Hensley, Jr., a former candidate for Governor of Kentucky, is out of jail after facing sex charges for complimenting two girls. Hensley offered to trade “a good fattening hog” to the aunt of a 13-year-old girl and her 11-year-old sister.

In response, the girls’ father initiated charges of first-degree attempted unlawful transaction with a minor. Hensley spent two days in jail before posting bail. The local prosecutor determined that Hensley meant no harm. Trading “a good fattening hog” is a colloquialism in Kentucky often used as a compliment towards someone.

Hensley apologized to the family but expressed his anger over the incident.

“Anyone can go get a warrant against another person for any reason and have them put in jail. That should not be allowed,” said Hensley.
