81% Predict Obama Victory In Foolocracy Poll

In a Foolocracy.com poll tallied from over 6,700 people who visited the site, 81% predicted Barack Obama would win the Presidency. The total was broken down further with 50% believing that Obama will get between 325 and 399 electoral votes, 18% felt that Obama would exceed 400 electoral votes and 13% felt Obama would squeak out a win with 270 to 324 electoral votes.

McCain was predicted the winner by 17% with 11% of those estimating a narrow McCain win. A moderate McCain victory, 325 to 399 electoral votes was predicted by 2%. However, 4% predicted a McCain landslide of over 400 electoral votes. A follow up question as not presented to the 4% to see if they can add.

Finally, 2% figured a tie at 269 to 269 electoral votes. Of course, that would result in an Obama victory with the Democratic controlled House of Representatives picking the President.
