McCain Campaign Keeps Overestimating Crowd Sizes

It appears the McCain campaign is having some crowd envy. Throughout the campaign, the McCain campaign has overestimated crowd sizes. While it is true that since Sarah Palin joined the ticket the crowds have increased, the overestimates continue.

The reason? Probably because Barack Obama pulls them in by the droves.

At a campaign rally in Virginia Beach, the McCain campaign estimated a crowd of 25,000. That is impressive. Of course, the Fire Marshall estimated the crowd size at 12,000.

So who is right? Well, the convention center where the rally happened holds only 16,000. It looks like the Straight Talk Express has become the Exaggeration Express.
