This election is not over yet and the pollsters are already planning for 2012.
This poll is worthless because it is so far into the future. The results are highly interesting,
Sarah Palin runs third in the race for the 2012 Republican nomination. Why is this significant? That is because she is on the national ticket now. Romney and Huckabee are going around the country giving speeches supporting her for Vice-President…and she trails them for the 2012 nomination?
In a Newsweek poll for the Republican 2012 Presidential nomination, Mitt Romney is the leader in a three-way race with 35%. Mike Huckabee received 26%. Sarah Palin posted third with 20%. None of these candidates was the choice of 10%, and 9% did not know who they would support.

I think that Huckabee will be the Nominee in 2012. Palin has been trashed by the media too much to re-capture herself in 2012. Huckabee may have a show on Fox, but he sure isn’t hated by MSNBC & CNN. He’s keeping his face and voice out there which is needed to very easily jump-start you’re Presidential Campaign.
I’d say Jindal would be the Vice.
