Putin is a one-time Judo champion of St. Petersburg. He mentioned that French President Nicolas Sarkozy has expressed interest in learning some lessons from him.
On the video, Putin explains some judo philosophy, “In a bout, compromises and concessions are permissible, but only in one case: if it is for victory.”
