America can elect an African-American as President, but we still have to live with idiots like Gordon Liddy. Liddy, of course, was Richard Nixon’s dirty trickster. He spent several years in prison for trying to subvert American democracy.

He now has a radio show.

A caller to his show said he was ready to go to the concentration camps that Obama will setup because “he will round me up. Because I — I’m a white American.”

Liddy then played a July 2 Obama speech: “We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”

Liddy called that “shades of the Gestapo” and told the caller he will be fed ham hocks and turnip greens in the concentration camp.

Actually, the July 2 speech was about expanding AmeriCorps.
