I think this is called inciting violence, and is a felony, when it is violence against the president, oh your fucked.
How ironic would it be if the pool was stolen in an armed robbery?
Funny this supposed “pool” was based on a previous pool directed at then president elect Bill Clinton. NO ONE objected to that one.
It was a tongue in cheek free speech act not aimed at inciting violence against anyone, just a sophomoric prank aimed at a DEMOCRAT, but since no one can see past race everyone assumed the worst. I doubt the AP reporter who claimed to have seen it actually did, I believe he acted on hearsay or he would have known it was about predicting any attack on the pres elect, not advocating it. Time for people to stop looking for possible affronts to their taste to complain about, get over it. Walk away and see it for what it was, not worth your time.

The story of a Maine convenience store doing this is all over the internet and newspapers. It is harder to find one referencing Standish, but here are some of those. If you have information that this did not occur in Standish, please pass it on to me. Until I hear otherwise, I have to go with what I know.

This is the clincher, and I just found it. This story came out after my article did so I did not have access to these details. I suppose it is a local Fox affiliate, Channel 13, running the story. It refers directly to Standish and the Oak Hill General Store. Apparently, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department is investigating.

To all those who think this is a joke, apparently the Standish city council didn’t think it was a joke, nor did they think it was in the least bit funny!
The reaction of the Standish Town Council was something of a joke. The Council condemned any “alleged activity calling for violence against any individual no matter their position, race, or ethnicity.”
Which apparently leaves open the door to violence based upon gender, religion, or sexual preference (to name but a few).

No..I’m not a racist, most of the people who don’t want Obama as president aren’t racist…I have SOME respect for him as he is a good basketball player and I live for basketball but I don’t think he is experienced enough to run my country. I defend this country and though me may not be my president he will be my Commander in Chief. By telling me I am racist I am led to believe that you think I’m white? If that is so brother let me tell you something, I am a black American. I am not a racist. I think that we are too quick to judge people as being racist when maybe they just have an opinion about a person beyond the amount of melanin in their skin.
