It looks like the Barack Obama citizenship issue will not die until he is inaugurated. It probably will not end even then.
Now the U.S. Supreme Court will discuss the matter in private because one justice decided it was worthy. Before fingering the member of our highest court, I will give a little background information on the case. If you do not think too hard about it, you can probably guess which Supreme Court Justice is responsible.
Leo Donofrio of New Jersey filed suit against Nina Wells, the New Jersey Secretary of State, claiming that she had not performed her duty to ensure the integrity of the electoral process.
Donofrio originally asked a state court to review the citizenship of Barack Obama, John McCain and Roger Calero. Calero was the Socialist Worker’s Party Presidential candidate. He was born in Venezuela. That is a cut and dry case.
John McCain was born in Panama but on an American military base. Legal scholars believe birth on an American military base qualifies as a “natural-born citizen.” A “natural-born citizen” is one of the requirements to be President.
For Obama, it is the old born in Kenya story again. Anyone who doubts that Obama was not born in Hawaii, please refer to Politifact and Factcheck investigations. Hawaii does not allow birth records to be publicly viewed. This is why no one can go in and see the certificate. It is not because Obama is hiding them, or they were never there. Anyway, after Donofrio’s case was rejected at the state level, he presented it to Supreme Court Justice David Souter who rejected it. Donofrio then presented it to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas who put it on the court docket for a conference on December 5. If four of the nine justices decide to hear the case, then full oral arguments will be scheduled.
Now it is possible Thomas wants to review Calero’s eligibility as a Presidential candidate. There are plenty of acceptable reasons for this. However, the timing, 10 days before the Electoral College meets, only gives hope and ammunition for those who believe Barack Obama has conspired to create the greatest hoax in world history — that he and his family have been hiding his Kenyan citizenship since he was a few days old so he could run for President.

By the way, for those still questioning Obama’s and McCain’s citizenship qualifications, al-Qaeda did fly planes into the Twin Towers, aliens have not abducted millions of people for medical experiments, and the moon is not made of cheese.

When the law asks me for my birth certificate, I have to get the copy from the state, at my expense, and hand it over. They don’t have to look for it, I do.
Exactly. No public birth certificate…no presidency. It costs 12.00 to get a copy. Obama has paid a team of lawyers a lot more to keep it out of sight. There is a lot more too this than the article implies. I hope they hear the case.
It is obvious that the guy who wrote this piece has some attitude especially about the pompous and arrogant framers of the Constitution that gave birth to this nation out of love of law and order not “Dancing with the Stars”
Anyway if he read Leo’s case he would see that it is a pretty serious case and that even Justice Thomas alone,to get it this far would need to believe he could get another three to see it his way.

The moment BHO signs a law and someone is arrested and tried for breaking it — or the moment he gives a military order and a soldier contests it — the defendant in court can say that the statute or order is invalid because BHO was not legally in office, and then that defendant WILL have standing and CAN subpoena the birth certificate and then we WILL know the truth.
And then everyone else will follow suit.
Obama has put forth only a “Certification of live birth”, which is NOT A Birth Certificate!
After months and months of unrequited requests, the Obama campaign did finally present a document which they claimed validated his eligibility (per the Constitution of the Unted States, Article II, Section I) as a “Natural born citizen” to have his name on the ballot in contention for the office of the President of the United States of America.
However, what the Obama campaign supplied was not, in fact, a “birth certificate”. What they supplied was actually a “Certificate of Live Birth.” There is a major difference between a “birth certificate” and a “Certificate of Live Birth.”
Aside from the level of detail differentiating the documents (hospital of record, doctor, height, weight, etc) – in the state of Hawaii, one authenticates natural born citizenship, and the other doesn’t. This part is important; – it has nothing to do with tin foil hats.
Per the State of Hawaii’s Department of Health, “Amended certificates of birth may be prepared and filed with the Department of Health, as provided by law, for 1) a person born in Hawaii who already has a birth certificate filed with the Department of Health or 2) a person born in a foreign country.” (For citation purposes, please feel free to visit their site: http://hawaii.gov/health/vital-records/vital-records/index.html).
The “Certificate of Live Birth” provided by Obama, is in fact, a derivative of the “Amended certificates of birth” they site. Why is that important? Because of that second clause in the above citation. While you may show citizenship via such a document, you do not necessarily prove “natural born” citizenship. “Natural born citizenship” is what is required to be eligible to be considered for the Presidency, per the United States Constitution.
The form Obama posted wouldn’t even be acceptable to make an application in Hawaii’s Home Lands Program!

What Obama has posted IS NOT A BIRTH CERTIFICATE!
There is a further complication, however. His subsequent adoption by Lolo Soetoro and resultant INDONESIAN citizenship is a bigger fly in his ointment. (I laugh whenever reference is made to “citizen of the WORLD’… Obama truly is a WORLD CITIZEN!)
Indonesia, at the time Obama lived there and was deemed an Indonesian citizen, did not recognize dual citizenship, and neither did the US recognize dual citizenship with Indonesia. Thus, whether he held dual citizenship with the US and Kenya, whether he was born in the US or Kenya, or even – as some suggest – CANADA, is irrelevant as the ONLY legitimate citizenship he held once his adopted father moved him to Indonesia was Indonesian! His US Citizenship would be forfeit!

Whether and when Barry Soetoro/Barack Obama might have regained US Citizenship thereafter, it would be thru NATURALIZATION and that is SPECIFICALLY and EXPRESSLY ineligible to serve as President of the United States under Title II. (Could this be why he uses the politically risky name Barack Hussein Obama instead of the more innocuous “Barry Soetoro”? Perhaps Barry Soetoro is STILL an Indonesian citizen? Perhaps there are naturalization papers in the name of Barry Soetoro? I’m just asking…)
