From the “Oops, I changed my mind” category is a new Survey USA poll that shows 8% of those who voted for Proposition 8 would vote against it now.
Proposition 8, banning gay marriage in California, was passed by a 4% margin.
Of course, maybe 8% of those who voted “No” on 8 would have changed their minds the other way since the protests occurred, thus, negating any change at all.
Nevertheless, it is an interesting, but meaningless statistic. This matter is in the hands of the California Supreme Court now.
