Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, France’s First Lady, has successfully sued a company that printed a nude, black and white photo of her on handbags.
Bruni-Sarkozy was awarded the equivalent of $57,500. The photo was taken in 1993 when she was a professional model.
Pardon, the company selling the handbag, said it had sold half of the 10,000 it printed.
Sarkozy said she would donate the proceeds to charity.
Here is a photo of the handbag.
