A U.S. historian is promoting the idea that Barack Obama might be the next neo-con President.

What?

Stephen Sniegoski listed several Obama appointments to support his position.

“(Joe Biden) is a strong supporter of Israel. He even made a statement `I am a Zionist’,” said Sniegoski.

Sniegoski also criticized the appointments of Rahm Emmanuel and Hillary Clinton.

“Rahm Manuel(sic) is a very strong Zionist, even he went to Israel to help out the military during the first Persian Gulf War,” said Sneigoski.

And for Clinton:

“Hillary Clinton made a statement that she would if Iran attacks Israel, that the United States should annihilate Iran,” said Sneigoski.

Biden. Emanuel. Clinton. That does not equal Cheney, Wolfowitz and Rumsfeld.

Why are all the comments about Israel, Zionism and Iran in Sniegoski’s examples?

Well, Sniegoski is apparently a shill of sorts for the Iranians. His comments were on Press TV, a semi-independent Iranian news agency. It is interesting that Iran is already trying to influence Obama, even before he assumes office. It looks like there is no honeymoon in the Middle East for the new President.

The far right thinks Obama is a socialist and a Muslim. Now the far left is planning to target Obama as a neo-con. That is a good sign Obama is headed towards the middle of the road.
