The bathroom stall that Idaho Senator Larry Craig made famous at the Minneapolis airport is beginning to lose its appeal as a tourist attraction.
“I think we’ll all be glad when there’s no special interest in that restroom,” said Patrick Hogan Director of Public Affairs at the Metropolitan Airports Commission.
At the height of its attraction, one person offered to buy the stall for $5,000.
One of the benefits of the bathroom stall’s star status has been a drop in complaints of lewd activity. The attention of Craig’s arrest scared away men seeking quick, restroom sex.
