“No Undies” New Year’s Eve Sex Party Riles Malaysian Authorities

Malaysia’s Tourism Minister has denounced a rumored sex party planned for a beach on New Year’s Eve.

“A sex party is against our culture and religion and if it went on, it would damage the country’s reputation worldwide,” said Datuk Seri Azalina Othman.

The “no undies” sex party bans men from wearing briefs and requires women to wear only G-string underwear. The website promoting the party states that the women must be prepared to remove the underwear after midnight.

Several people had received invitations to the party that lists an admittance fee of $72 on its website.

Azalina requested that authorities take immediate action to halt the party.

Police officials expressed their belief that the party is a fraud designed to cheat people out of the entrance fee. However, sex parties are not new to Malaysia. Over the last year, 70 men have been arrested in connection to several gay sex parties.
