Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd’s reputation has taken a beating of late.
He recently apologized for yelling at an Australian Royal Air Force flight attendant because none of his preferred meals, without red meat, were available.
Some have called Rudd the “pig of Australian politics” over the incident. However, Rudd did apologize to the attendant and admitted, “We all make mistakes, your prime minister included.”
Now word has leaked out that when Rudd visited some Australian troops in Afghanistan, he tried to blow dry his hair but had a malfunction.
No one quit knows the reason for the problem. Either the hairdryer didn’t work, was left behind or didn’t have the right electrical connections. What is known is that Rudd threw a fit.
Although Rudd denies throwing a tantrum, reports are that many of the soldier’s received a good laugh when Rudd tried to get his hair dried for a photo shoot.
At the same visit, Rudd was also invited to pull the cord on a high-tech catapult that launches an unmanned drone. Rudd was afraid to do it, eventually enlisting someone else to pull the cord.
Perhaps he was just afraid the whoosh of the drone would mess up his hair. War is hell on hair.
