Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi vowed to step down if anyone finds that he had a “spicy” relationship with 18-year-old model Noemi Letizia.
Berlusconi attended Letizia’s 18th birthday party last month. Thereupon, Berlusconi’s wife announced she was seeking a divorce because of the Prime Minister’s reputation of cavorting with minors.
Berlusconi has denied the allegation as he has with similar charges throughout his time in office, including rumors last year that one of his ministers performed oral sex on him.
Berlusconi has recently been hit by another scandal when the Spanish newspaper El Pais published nude photos of women and a man cavorting at a New Year’s party at Berlusconi’s home in Sardinia. Berlusconi’s lawyers are immediately seeking to sue the newspaper. Fortunately, the photos are still available, and you can see them here.
Letizia, who was 17 at the time, also attended the same party.
Last week Italian prosecutors seized the photos and placed the photographer under investigation for violating privacy laws. Supposedly, the paparazzi photographer took hundreds of pictures of the party.
Berlusconi expressed outrage at the paparazzi who take photos such as these. When asked if naked women were present at the party, Berlusconi responded, “Do you take a shower dressed? These girls were bathing in a Jacuzzi inside a private home, and they were assaulted in a scandalous way.”
You can think that, Prime Minister, but the photographs reveal a bit more than women in a jacuzzi. It also doesn’t explain the main wandering about without his shorts on and….oh, what should I say, slightly excited.
Rome prosecutors are also investigating Berlusconi for improper use of government funds to fly in guests. Berlusconi said it was not done with taxpayer funds.
It is all just more fun from the Prime Minister’s office in Italy.
