From Smooth Talking Mark Sanford To Straight Talking Hypocrite

Now that the emails from Governor Mark Sanford to his Argentine girlfriend are public, all they need are a little background music and a soft serenade.

Of course, no one wants his or her personal emails to be bared out in the open. I’m sure everyone one of us would have something to be embarrassed about.

Yet, when you’re the governor and a hypocrite to boot, it all seems fair.

Next time that you need a line to sweet talk a loved one, you might want to use one of these gems from Sanford.

Two, mutual feelings …. You have a particular grace and calm that I adore. You have a level of sophistication that so fitting with your beauty. I could digress and say that you have the ability to give magnificent gentle kisses, or that I love your tan lines or that I love the curve of your hips, the erotic beauty of you holding yourself (or two magnificent parts of yourself) in the faded glow of the night’s light – but hey, that would be going into sexual details …

Now for the hypocrisy and I don’t mean just the family value lifestyle Sanford spouts. Sanford called Bill Clinton a “rascal” for his affair with Monica Lewinsky.

At the time, Sanford was a Congressman and voted for the impeachment of Clinton. Before that, he said, “I think it would be much better for the country and for him personally (to resign)… I come from the business side. If you had a chairman or president in the business world facing these allegations, he’d be gone.”
