- A Mossad source states that Saudi Arabia would turn a blind eye to an Israeli flyover of its airspace during an attack on Iranian nuclear facilities.
- Here is another embarrassment for Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi. This one involves a photograph of him smiling as two women kiss in front of him. Several European publications are now bidding for the rights to the photograph.
- A group of Iranian clerics has called the Presidential election results “invalid.”
- Former Washington, D.C., mayor and now councilman Marion Berry has been arrested for stalking a woman. This guy must still be a crack head.
- India plans to make a grenade for riot control out of one of the world’s hottest chili powders. Curry sauce not included.
- Joe Biden: “We misread how bad the economy was, but we are now only about 120 days into the recovery package.” That’s an A+ for candor and a D for solving the problem.
- In the UK, the Dorset County Council has banned bunting as a safety hazard. Apparently, they are afraid it might bring the lampposts down. If the lampposts are that weak, they have a bigger problem than some plastic bunting.
- NASA has a scaled-down plan to return to the moon. The alternative to the $35 billion plan to build new rockets is a $6.6 billion recycled and slower version of the space shuttle rockets. Sounds like a deal.
- Colin Powell is worried that the Obama administration is trying to do too much and spend too much.
