Sarah Palin usually has an upbeat, almost chipper, demeanor in her political speeches. However, when I saw this one, it seemed unusually hyper, almost hysterical. Some have called it rambling as well. Taking into consideration the likelihood that she may be indicted as early as next week, her odd behavior becomes more understandable. What is clear is that the oft-repeated claim by Palin that she does not represent “politics as usual” is one big fat fib. Scandals are “politics as usual.”
