While Republicans call Democrats Nazis, and Democrats exclaim that Republicans are using Nazi tactics, the real National Socialists are bemused by the two main parties.

In an email response to Foolocracy, Commander Jeff Schoep of the National Socialist Movement, called the comparisons by the Democrats and Republicans “kind of laughable.”

At rallies across the country, opponents of the Obama-driven health care reform plan have pictured the President as Adolph Hitler or a Brown Shirt. Nazi symbols have been freely used to condemn the plan. A swastika was even spray-painted on a Congressman’s office sign. Rush Limbaugh joined in the fray, comparing a health care logo to the Nazi eagle. On Tuesday, Rep. Barney Frank lashed out at a protester who held a poster depicting President Barack Obama with a Hitler-style mustache during a heated town hall meeting. “On what planet do you spend most of your time?” Frank asked the woman.

The Democrats have fared little better. Congressman Brian Baird said he was not going to attend traditional town hall meetings because of “Brown Shirt tactics” by his opponents. In a highly criticized statement from the Democratic National Committee, Republican Party National Chair Michael Steele, an African-American, and Congressman Eric Cantor, a Jew, were accused of “fanning the flames” with Nazi symbolism.

Schoep has found this bantering between the Democrats and Republicans a “strange trend.”

“The two Party system is a sham, and neither the Dems or Repubs can get the job done by fixing our economy, therefore they are busy taking jabs at each other by attempting to link each other to us,” Schoep said.

Schoep stated that history has proven the economic policies of the German National Socialists led to a prosperous Germany.

Schoep commented that it was time to kick the Democrats and Republicans aside and “allow the REAL National Socialists to implement our economic policies, and see what National Socialism can do for the Nation.”

I don’t think most Americans are ready for that, but, at least then, the Democrats and Republicans would be able to point their fingers and spray-paint swastikas at the real Nazis.
