It is a little bit scary when the main advocate of global warming gets his facts so wrong.
In this interview with Conan O’Brien, Al Gore states that “the interior of the earth is extremely hot, several million degrees.”
I am going to assume Gore just made a gaffe and does not really believe that. The interior of the earth is several thousands of degrees, somewhere between 5,000 and 10,000. The interior of the sun is several million of degrees.
If the earth’s interior was that hot, the earth would be a sun.
