  • Doug Hoffman, who almost won the 23rd Congressional District in New York, has “revoked his statement of concession” despite needing to win 80% of the remaining uncounted votes in order to win. Hoffman is alleging that ACORN and labor unions stole the election from him.
  • Speaking of ACORN stealing elections, 52% of Republicans think that ACORN stole the Presidential election.
  • Sweden’s female soldiers are growing impatient. After being told that fireproof underwear and bras would be available in the spring of 2009, the soldiers are still waiting. Female soldiers have argued for thirty years that they should have fireproof undies like the men.
  • Former Rep. William Jefferson of Louisiana will spend 13 years in prison on bribery charges, but he is still eligible for $50,000 in retirement benefits for his 18 years as a Congressman.
  • Vermont Senator Patrick Leahy said that if we capture bin Laden “we don’t need to interrogate him.”
