- Germany’s Constitutional Court ruled that Berlin’s law permitting stores to open on Sundays was unconstitutional. The court ruled that Sundays have a special status for rest and spiritual rejuvenation.
- After Switzerland’s ban on minarets, a Turkish minister is calling for all Muslims to close their Swiss bank accounts.
