They want to marry once the judge lifts the order of protection barring Monserrate from seeing his girlfriend. A few days ago, Monserrate voted against allowing gays to marry, presumably because it is immoral.
The U.S. has abandoned some bases in Afghanistan as unnecessary. The Taliban have entered those sites for propaganda purposes.
