Times Square Bomb Would Have Been Worse than Oklahoma City

The bomb that failed terrorist Faisal Shahzad tried to explode in Times Square would have been worse than the Oklahoma City bombing if Shahzad had built it correctly.

FBI tests of the bomb suggest that thousands could have died as buildings would have been damaged and flying shrapnel would have zipped in all directions.

Fortunately, Shahzad is closer to a buffoon than a terrorist.

A replica of the bomb was tested outside of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

“It would have been the biggest thing ever to happen in this country since Sept. 11,” one source said.

While we dodged a disaster this time, eventually these terrorists are going to get lucky or find someone competent.
