Florida Man Running for Governor Claims Support of 40 Political Parties and $14.2 Million Warchest

Here is guy with a serious political addiction problem.

Florida resident Josue Larose started 40 political parties between June and August of 2010. He has also created 160 political action committees over the last few years. In addition, Larose is running as a write-in candidate for both Governor and Senator this year. However, he cannot officially run as a write-in candidate for Senator because Florida election law does not allow someone to run for two offices at the same time.

That should not be a problem because Larose’s support is not likely to influence the election.

This year, in the April 13 special election for a House seat, Larose ran as a write-in candidate. He received zero votes.

In 2009, he ran as a write-in candidate for a State Senate seat and did considerably better. Larose received seven votes.

That has not stopped Larose from bringing in the big bucks for his campaign though. Larose reports a $14.2 million war chest that includes $5.8 million in cash, $5.4 million in in-kind contributions and $3 million in loans to himself.

Larose is heavily backed by the American Venture Capital Group which has dropped $1 million into several of his political parties and hundreds of thousands into other Larose political organizations.

And, if you believe that, the tooth fairy will be leaving you a cool $1 million under your pillow tomorrow.

The Florida Secretary of State office which refers to Larose as a “challenge.”

He has 11 separate reporting violations already in the dock from the Secretary of State’s office. Larose is being threatened with $500 a day fines for political reporting violations, but that should not be much of a problem with the millions that he has backing him.

Larose is a self-professed economist and “rich man” who owns 8 businesses.

Here are Larose’s political parties:

  • American Adventists Political Party
  • American Aristocrats Political Party
  • American Bankers Political Party
  • American Baptists Political Party
  • American Billionaires Political Party
  • American Bourgeoisie Political Party

  • American Pentecostals Political Party
  • American Presbyterians Political Party
  • American Royal Political Party
  • American Socialists Political Party
  • American Sport Players Political Party
  • American Wealthy Persons Political Party

As you can see, Larose has a fondness for everything with an American name.

Larose is probably the only candidate in America who can claim that he has the support of socialist, royalty, celebrity and capitalist political parties. That does not include support from just about every Christian denomination around, or the political parties of such imaginary organizations, which he appears to be the only member.

Larose claims to be President of the (you guessed it) American National Chamber of Commerce. He also claims to be “Chairman of many Federal PACs, including these richest Political Action Committees.” Larose then lists five PAC’s including the United States Federal Billionaires PAC. He must sit on that board with Bill Gates and Warren Buffett.

Larose seems to be a man of many abilities, but there is one thing lacking. His position on the issues is a total mystery.
