As big as government is, there is no fault in holding investigations to keep different branches accountable. Witch hunts are another matter. California Rep. Darrell Issa is increasingly treading near those waters. In this video, he claims that there could be up to 600 investigations of the Obama administration. Issa is the new chair of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. He has previously called the Obama administration the “most corrupt” of modern times. Corruption in Issa’s dictionary means misspending money, not necessarily pocketing it.

Indiana Senate candidate Richard Mourdock takes the position that compromise is unnecessary in politics. After his Indian primary victory over Senator Richard Lugar, Mourdock felt that there was no need to work across the aisle as Lugar had a reputation doing. Mourdock stated that "Bipartisanship oughta consist of Democrats coming to the Republican point of view.”
