China to United States: “With Leadership comes Responsibility”

Leadership…what a concept.

Our bankers in China had this to say through one of the official news outlets Xinhua:

“With leadership comes responsibility. It is unfortunate and disappointing that when political leaders in Washington spar over who is doing good for their country, they take little account of the world’s economic soundness.”

China and the rest of the world are under the delusion that Washington has leaders. As I’ve said before, we haven’t had this much lack of leadership since 1860 when 600,000 lives were lost over the archaic and inhumane institution of slavery.

It is a clear sign that something is wrong when the United States has to be taking lessons about responsibility from the Chinese. Maybe the world will be better off if they are in charge, at least until we get rid of the obstinate blowhards in Congress.
