Stephen Colbert has not been able to get on the South Carolina ballot, but his Super PAC is urging voters to channel their support to Colbert through Herman Cain.
“He’s not a career politician. He’s such a Washington outsider he’s not even running for president,” the video states.
Cain, of course, dropped his campaign in December but remains on the ballot. With Colbert, who was polling 5% in South Carolina, it will be interesting to see if any unhappy or prankster voters give Cain a little bump.
The video ends with a slow smile from Colbert similar to the famous ad by Cain.
