Woman Jumps on Ahmadinejad’s Car to Protest

It seems that the economic sanctions against Iran for its nuclear program are creating powerful dissension in Iran. In Bandar-Abbas, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s motorcade was stalled by protesters. The protests were fueled by the declining economic conditions as sanctions continue to pressure the Iranian government.

This incident is particularly dramatic because a woman protester jumped onto Ahmadinejad’s car and confronted him face to face for a few seconds. It is unknown what she said, but she clearly was not greeting him warmly. It is an extraordinarily dramatic video of a brave woman surrounded by Ahmadinejad’s bodyguards.
