Most of these people are one-time supporters of Barack Obama. Obviously, they aren’t going to back Mitt Romney. Perhaps they will vote for the Greens or another third party or just stay home. Any of those options are good for Romney.

Of course, Romney has his own problems with the Tea Party. As he moves towards the center, some on the right are going to feel betrayed and not support him. That will be good news for Obama so maybe both sides will cancel themselves out.

Many liberals share the views of these Occupiers that Obama is too centrist. That is interesting because some conservatives see Obama as a socialist. What is really intriguing is the sign in the video that equates Obama with the Nazis. Signs at Tea Party rallies have done the same thing. Conservatives see Obama as a Nazi; liberals see Obama as a Nazi.

I don’t think that anyone walking around with one of those signs knows what a Nazi is. Nazis are an offshoot of fascism. The fascists believe in government and big business working together, which can define a lot of Democrat and Republican policies today. However, Nazism has racial overtones to it. It takes fair skin, blue eyes and blonde hair to be part of the Master Race. Trying to paint an African-American as a Nazi is ludicrous. Obama’s mixed race heritage is the very thing that the Nazis despised.

Free speech is a great thing, but for a lot of people it simply means the opportunity to express their ignorance.
