Montana Lawmaker Suggests That If Obama Reelected, Then Civil War Necessary

So much for the idea of respecting the ballot box. In a Facebook posting, Montana state Rep. David Howard laid out his opinion that four more years of Barack Obama will be the political end times.

If we lose the Presidency and/or the Senate majority our 1st and 2nd Amendment rights will be gone in four years. The SSD’s [secular socialist Democrats] will place two more secular anti-American Justices on the Supreme Court and kill America from within.

Let me repeat that!

If we lose this election the Secular Socialist Democrats will place two more secular anti-American Justices on the Supreme Court and kill America from within.

This is reality and this will happen if we lose this election!

This could force American Patriots into a Civil war to regain our freedoms. Where we won’t be able to worry about being offended by what some people in a political party do or don’t do!

Where the idea arose that Obama is going to repeal the First and Second Amendments is a mystery. He has not even hinted at the thought. Imagining that this is possible in four years flies in the face of political reality. A president and his party majority in Congress can’t repeal sections of the Constitution anyway. It takes supermajorities even of the states to do that. Sometimes I wonder if these people took grade-school government classes.

This is not an out-of-the-ordinary posting by Howard either. In other postings, Howard warns of an “anti-Christ worldview” by politicians who discriminate against Christians. Howard, who seems to think that “Democrat” is the same thing as “socialist and ungodly,” is no fan of the separation of church and state. He is an elected official who almost always works his religious beliefs into his political ideology.

With people like Howard around, the old days when liberals and conservatives would debate on legislative floors and then get together afterward to try to compromise on a bill seem quaint. Howard isn’t even happy with the Republican Party. In the same post where he warns of Civil War, he refers to starting a third party. Presumably, this is because the Republicans have to appease the socialist, ungodly, slightly moderate conservatives in their ranks.
