If it wasn’t for Barack Obama saying that he approved the message, I would take this as the work of a satirical genius. Even then, I had to double check to makes sure it was legitimate. It is on the Obama campaign’s YouTube channel.
Still, if this isn’t one of the strangest political ads by a presidential candidate ever, then I want to see a stranger one. Bringing a little levity into the campaign doesn’t hurt. This might be just a tad too much though.
Are you kidding? Too much?? It’s great that he shows a sense of humor. We need MUCH more of this than the usual doom & glum being offered by GOP.
After seeing all the trash that gets thrown into ads, I see your point. This one still strikes me as a little bizarre though.
Interesting that the three men prosecuted by the DoJ at the beginning of the ad happened under Dubya’s administration and not under Obama’s.
