Here is the perfect example of someone grabbing a hold of word because of its negative connotations but not understanding what it means.

This woman at the VP debate called Barack Obama a communist. She urged Chris Matthews to “study it out” and he will come to the same conclusion. When Matthews asks her to explain what she considers a communist, the best she can come up with is that Obama is not an American.

It isn’t just communist that is a hot word to attack an opponent. The same is true with socialist and Nazi. Sometimes the protests incorporate all three together. That is a real trick because the three encompass a broad political territory.

Sadly, this is where political dialogue is at. People are throwing words and accusations without understanding what they are saying. So much for educated voters.
