Connecticut Senate Candidate McMahon’s Campaign Ends with Bounced Checks and a Condom

Linda McMahon lost her race for Connecticut’s senate seat, but the people who worked in their campaign are the real losers.

Since the election ended, campaign workers have been given checks that have bounced. Even a check cashing company is out $1,600 for cashing campaign workers’ worthless checks.

At least one campaign worker who complained even got a message worse than just a bounced check. Twaine Don Gomes was given a check and a bonus.

“Basically he handed me a check with a condom in it, told me I was screwed,” Gomes said. “That’s the rudest gesture you can ever do to a person, it’s like spitting in a person’s face.”

At least he got a condom out of it. That’s worth more than the check.
