I found this informative infographic on just how much of a business running for president has become. That’s just not any business either. It’s big business. This is one of the few endeavors that make Mitt Romney’s $250 million look small.
Of particular interest are the comparisons of campaign costs of the last two elections going all the way back to Lincoln. The 2008 election was the most expensive in history, until the 2012 swamped it. Thank Citizens United for that.
