Birther Congressmen Planning Bill to Expose Obama’s “Fraudulent” Birth Certificate

stevestockmanfoolIn case you have wondered what happened to the birthers, well, they are still out there. The lunacy hasn’t stopped. If anything, it has become further entrenched in Congress. Whatever the political persuasion of these politicians, it would seem that they would have enough sense to figure out that a birth certificate that the state of Hawaii says is valid would be enough proof to wake them up from their conspiratorial dreams. So much for that.

At least two Congressmen are proposing a bill to expose Barack Obama’s “fraudulent” birth certificate: Texas Rep. Steve Stockman and Florida Rep. Ted Yoho. This bill has stirred the passions of Obama-haters and birthers everywhere. It has these people thinking that they are going to bring down the Obama presidency.

Without even considering the merits, or lack thereof of this nuttiness, the birthers should realize this is a dead end from the first step. Even if the bill passed the House, a highly unlikely scenario in the Republican-dominated body, it would never make it through the Democratic-dominated Senate. Even then. it would have to go to Obama for his signature. This is basic fifth-grade civics. The birthers flunk it.

Stockman and Yoho have enough sense to know the political reality of this, but they are simply playing politics and stirring the base of crazies who back them. In June, Stockman even visited the birther Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who had to send one of his posse members to Hawaii to figure out the mystery of the Obama birth certificate. Arpaio determined it was a fraud, which doesn’t say much for his investigative skills.

Perhaps Stockman isn’t going to introduce this bill. It is just more red flag waving by those who have created a mess in Washington. Yet even the discussion of this is pure foolishness. From Stockman and Yoho, that is something we have come to expect.

At a Tea Party meeting last week, Yoho announced his intention to co-sponsor Stockman’s bill. You can hear the enthusiastic cheers in the audio. Yoho even goes onto admit that the birther bill is a “distraction” from the real issues facing the nation like the debt.

Whoa! Maybe these guys don’t need to be institutionalized as certified loonies. Unfortunately, it was just a momentary vision of reality because Yoho then went onto to say that if Obama’s birth certificate is fake then he should be removed from office. I can agree with that. And if the Moon is made of cheese, then we can feed the world too.

This is why Congress has become a do-nothing Congress. It is spending its time on distractions and distortions for pure politics. Obama’s birth certificate is 100% valid and anyone who has enough gray matter to be elected to Congress should be able to figure that out.

One Response to Birther Congressmen Planning Bill to Expose Obama’s “Fraudulent” Birth Certificate

  1. Montana says:

The Birthers/ Teabaggers have no evidence that would stand up in a court of law in the United States. To all the Birthers in internet land, its upon you to prove to all of us (the majority) that what you are saying is true. Take it to court you bunch of cowards!

Let me be clear none of these Birther/ Teabaggers dullards have taken there “Birther Documents of facts, more like lies” and none have won a case in the “U.S. Courts”, maybe in their simple minds (if they have any) but not in our “U.S. Courts”, so unless Birthers/ Teabaggers, whatever you want to be called, win a court case, we will continue to see as dullards, liars or racist or maybe all three. Deal with the real truth baby!

To all the Teabaggers / Birthers/ Chicken Littles that keep saying that the sky is falling, and the Unites States will fail, never count against the United States of America, we are coming back and you and your losers are wrong!
