Kentucky’s Senator Jim Bunning, already badgered by his own Republican Party to step aside for someone more electable next year, had some sharp words with a reporter from the Louisville Courier-Journal a couple of days ago.

In 2004, Kentucky Senator Jim Bunning barely defeated Lt. Governor Dan Mongiardo. Mongiardo recently announced that he was going to challenge Bunning again.
Politico reported on Monday that a reporter contacted Bunning that he had an opponent for 2010.
“I did? Who would that be?”  When told of Mongiardo, Bunning responded, “Really! I’ve been very busy.”
